Dawn holds a B.A. in Early Childhood Education from Washburn University. She has worked in the field of early care and education for over 30 years in all aspects (family child care, preschool, school-age, and center). For the past six years she has been the director at Christ the King Early Education Center. Dawn presents regularly on the national, state and local level on assorted topics. She is involved in various child care organizations and has held many offices within these organizations on a state and local level.
